We're Close

We're closer than this.  This picture has no relevance to proximity.  Instead, this is the unofficial flag of Earth Day.  Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd.  April 22nd is what we're close to.  Another interesting thing that's happening tomorrow is that we're going to be inducing labor.  Carrie is going to to begin labor tomorrow at 10:00 AM and with any luck we'll have a baby in the late afternoon.  Actually, that's about as late as we expect things to happen.  Carrie is having contractions today and they're a little sporadic, but they're about 20 mins apart, so it could be sooner.  It's very crazy.  Wish us luck.

Oh Eddie, Eddie, Eddie Spaghetti! You're going to be just fine and so is Carrie....10am tomorrow huh? Guess I'll keep my phone around w/ me all day....I’m sure I'll get a call from someone shortly after.
I'm so excited for you two!!! Even though your fears of parenthood seem so great now, they will all wash away when you make eye contact w/ your son. That moment will be a miraculous moment forever etched in your memory.

And soon you will not care if you are pooped on, sneezed on, thrown up on, peed on...bled on, no matter the bodily function...it will not matter. The sound of his coo, or baba, or first "daddy" will bring warmth to your heart and tears to your eyes.

Congrats again you two.....love you and look forward to seeing pictures! God Bless! Hugs and Kisses, Becky
