Okay, we went through a spell where Owen wasn't very keen on looking at the camera. He's still not awesome at it, but these shots prove he's getting better. Owen, Carrie, Ron and Debby were getting ready to take off this morning and Carrie got these shots. I'm surprised at how much he's bringing out a variety of expressions we don't usually see.
It's kind of pathetic, they've been gone for about three hours and I am already off task looking at photos of Owen because I miss him. It didn't help that as I was dropping them off at the airport, he got upset when he realized I wasn't going with them and was saying, "come on, daddy, come on" as I was getting back into the car. That was a little rough.

Hang in there Dad. Never is a heart so tugged upon as it is with little hands.
I had a great visit with Carrie and Owen....he sure likes the boat horn.
Carol, Carrie, and Owen went back down to the boat this evening and those two girls told him the horn was broken
I hear ya Eddie. Breaks my heart when ever the kids get "upset" that I'm just leaving the house to go shopping. But I'm sure there is some quiet time that you'll get to enjoy for a while....so soak that in as much as you can. :-)
Wow Eddy- it was GREAT to see Carrie and Owen! Tejas sure enjoyed seeing him again too. Sorry you went through "missin' 'em" but it sure was great for those up here!!
I'm proud to say that Ownee gave Grandma Miller and I welcomed good-bye kisses after the dinner party at her house. He's turning into a little charm
