The Rough Days of Parenting

These are the days that are rough. Having a sick kiddo and playing the game of, whose-work-will be-less-mad-if-you-missed-a-day. Poor little Owen came down with a pretty bad fever on Sunday night and it has yet to go away. He hit a high of 103.8 yesterday and 103 today. We took him to the doctor who said not to worry just yet (easier said than done) and that he most likely has a virus. The kid is a trooper when he's sick. Fairly low key and still has his sense of humor.

Poor little guy.

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been writing for awhile. You know why, but I just wanted you to know that I check the blog all the time and that Grandma really enjoys seeing the pictures, too. I am SO glad that Owen is finally feeling better . . . that was scary hearing he was so sick. The only time Eddy or Trina were really sick was when they had chicken pox, and actually Trina was much more affected than Eddy. Eddy and Jeni got it after Trina and Shannon did, but for some reason neither of them got anywhere near as sick as Trina or Shannon. Anyway, I'm much relieved he's better. Grandma is hanging in there, I'll call and give you another up-date soon. Love you guys, oooooo's and xxxxxx's to Owen, Mom / Grandma But
