Owen's favorite present of the morning. He was absolutely giddy over it.
He has recently become a Dora and Diego fan so he was pretty excited to get the Diego rescue center.
A robot!
Dawn stopped by to exchange presents with Owen and have a cup of coffee with us. After she left, we got dressed and headed over to Dick and Ellie's for Christmas dinner. It was nice to see family at Christmas and as an added bonus, Lori, Mike and Ben were in town.
We met up the next day for a leisurely hike. The kids collected rocks and Ed got attacked by a jumping cholla. (He's lived here for over five years and still hasn't learned to not mess with the pokies, as Owen calls them.) All and all we had a nice and relaxing Christmas. Ed caught up on some much needed rest and we all got to slow down for a few days.
P.S. Ben says "hi" to Uncle Carol and the little man.

I was re-reading the story with this group of pictures and can hardly resist the urge to give Owen a big hug and kiss. "Me touch?" is about the sweetest thing anyone could have said in that situatuion. What a sweetheart. Please tell him Auntie Trina loves him so much and can't wait to see him in June!
Oh, Tejas is already planning his, Eddy's and Owen's boat trip with Happy Grandpa to Blake Island. He can't wait and talks about it all the time! He and Grandpa get a real kick out of "planning" it. Love, Trina
