Kiss, Kiss Starfish

We definitely have a water baby, which works out nicely when you live in Arizona and there is nothing to do but swim in a pool. Given we are moving into a house with a pool, we decided to register Owen for swim classes. His pediatrician also thinks it will be a good addition to his physical therapy. Since he has low muscle tone, it's taking longer for his little baby legs to build up muscle and kicking around in a pool should help out. Plus, he gets to be around other babies and be in water. He starts in July and I think he's going to love the lessons.

Once he noticed the face on the starfish, he started giving the starfish kisses on the mouth. It was pretty dang cute.

The kid loves splashing the water. This is pretty much what he does the entire time in the pool. Hope the other babies are ready to be splashed and I'm pretty sure Owen wouldn't mind if they splashed back.

Boy, that little (well, not so little) floating device . . . can't really call it an inner tube . . . is dang cute, too. So is the little guy floating in it. :0)

Hope you all are having great time, it sure looks like you are!

Love to you all, Mom

Swimming = EXERCISE & FUN ... how GREAT! I remember when your mom took you to swim classes in the Fed Way High School, Eddy. I have movies of that somewhere. You were quite young, (not as young as Owen). I notice the clever starfish has something overhead that apparently offers sun protection. Another good idea.

Great job you guys, it is never too early to start loving water. With your pool in Az and boating in the Northwest, swimming will serve him well. Not to mention that it is so healthy for him and fun.
