...But sometimes people stop you from breaking their sunglasses.
Life is good in the sun.
Dang Dad - look how far out I can spread your sunglasses. Crazy!
No fair, I wanted to break those.

Ah yes, the evil parent sets limits and protects property. What a meanie............
You may have just saved Owen a broken jaw though. I mean think about it. In 20 years or so, he walks into a pub. He sees a pair of sunglasses on the bar, he grabs them. Admires them maybe. Then he starts pulling them apart until snap! Then he hears, "Hey those are my sunglasses and sees a 6'9" biker with half a buzz and no sense of humor glaring at him. Now, with the wisdom of your intervention, Owen may just walk on by, not really knowing for sure the source of his reluctance to involve himself with the sunglasses on the bar.
Or he may always buy Nerf brand sunglasses just to show you that with a little planning on your part, (and a willingness to wear Nerf sunglasses) this very stressfull experience need not have occured at all.
This blog is a snapshot into the life of Team Wilhelme: Ed, Carrie, Owen, Wyatt, and the Dog. We originally started this blog over a decade ago in preparation for the arrival of our first son, Owen. We wanted friends, family and well-wishers from afar to be able to drop in and see how we're doing. We have come to cherish the many small moments we captured while Owen was little, so we decided to start the blog up again as Wyatt develops as a member of Team Wilhelme. Welcome and enjoy.
