Me Poop In The Potty

Oh, how life changes on you. There was a time in life when there was no context in which I would get excited about poo. Well, that's all changed now. Carrie, Owen and I just had a celebration regarding his going to the bathroom in the big-boy potty. Life really does shift focus when you're a parent.

I'm thinking senior year book photo material here.

Congratulations Owen, and to both of you Mom and Dad. Now life can be measured not only in distances of time between meals, but now in geographical distances from toilet to toilet too. Ah yes, the endless questions, how does it flush, where does the water go, was that your key ring? The list goes on, but I will let you add to it as your experiences and mileage may vary.

It gets really fun when they are fully in big kid underwear and need to use the potty while you are out running errands. The mission to find the nearest public restroom is always an interesting one. Congrats!-Alexis

Well, well, CONGRATULATIONS Owen!

You are getting sooooo big!! It's fun to go to the bathroom with Mom or Dad, you get to flush the toilet and see the water go away, you get to wash your hands and use LOTS of soap, then you get to run back to the car, or to the dinner table, or to the couch . . .

Eddy, I love what Dad wrote! (And I thought you got your writing talent from me.) :0) Love to all, Mom / Grandma Bug
