I hate to do the same theme two days in a row, but this is pretty much all Owen and I did yesterday that's blogworthy. Carrie and I don't have TV so we got all of our information the 21st century way, we streamed it. Everything was going fine till the actual inauguration, at which point everyone on Earth with a computer logged onto CNN and broke the internet. Oh well, there's always 19th century technology: the radio.
It was cool to have Owen around for this. All growing up the only president I knew was Reagan. I knew other people could be, and in fact had been, president, but I was freakin' 9 before I saw it happen. With any luck, that will be Owen's experience with Obama. I'm very jealous.
Clapping along with the crowd, Owen demonstrates baby-enthusiasm for the democratic process. I wonder who he's going to vote for in 2028.
It really does make decision making easier when you know exactly why you're making your decisions.
