Exploring With Grandma

While Owen and I were at Ron and Debby's, Seattle had a fairly nice day. Debby took the opportunity to lead an expedition to the Back Yard. I just stood back and popped off a few photos while she made good use of the age of discovery.

Owen likes to touch things that are new and interesting to him. He'll run his fingers over them to get a rough estimate of their texture.

He really likes to splash water; the fact that it was 42 degrees didn't seem to bother him one bit.

He also found out feathers tickle. And, more importantly, that grandmas are not above tickling for their own amusement.

I love the first picture. Owen looks so amazed at the new buds on the tree. Good shot Eddy!

All of these are such great pictures. You can just see the curiosity in Owen's eyes . . . and the joy in Debby's!

Glad everyone arrived home safely. :0) We miss you already! Love, Mom and Grandma P.S. XOXO to little Owen.

Here we see Owen experiencing and enjoying some pretty chilly weather activities; something he hasn't seen "at home". Great idea Debby, it made for some VERY neat pictures! The first one belongs on the cover of a flower and garden magazine, both the baby and the tree budding out...
