Interspecies Relations Improving
Although they got off to a rough start, Owen and Nala appear to be improving relations. This is a pretty one-sided improvement, being that the baby loves the cat and the cat is becoming indifferent to the baby. Indifferent is good though, and allowing him to "pet" her is even better. This considering Owen's petting consists of grabbing handfuls of fur and/or ears and tugging.

I can just picture this . . . Nala jumping up and settling down on the bed, coincidentally beside Owen . . . Owen checking out that cute little kitty, thinking "she's simply amazing" and reaching out to make that first contact all by himself. Destined by the cosmos . . .
