Feelin' Better

Owen seems to have kicked his bug and is feeling much better these days. He's eating a ton and everybody suspects he's in the middle of another growth spurt. It also helps that the sun is out again. We had a couple of days of rain and the gloom was felt by all. But now that outside is an option again, everyone's spirits are riding high.

As a sign of a gentle soul, Owen gets so excited when he sees the hummingbirds drinking. Today on the way home he told me that today he ate a bird. I took that to mean he would enjoy watching the birds eat today. He did.

It is good to see that you guys are feeling better. It is also good to see another posting. We didn't realize quite how much we looked forward to the frequent posts until they started to get (and for a good reason) less frequent. We certainly hope all of these "post tramatic" illnesses are behind you now.

love,
Dad and Carol

I agree with Dad. We really enjoy all the postings of daily life in Az, also. It sounds like Ownee and Tejas are two peas in a pod. Ownee enjoys watching humming birds and Tejas enjoys finding a pretty sunset out of our West facing breakfast nook window. Very gentle little guys. Glad all is well. Love, Trina

Well, we're all probably making you feel guilty by now, but we really enjoy the postings, too. It's impossible for you guys to do what you were able to do before, I know. That just makes the ones you do post even more enjoyable.

I had a dream about Owen and Carrie last night. I dreamed you had a shop in a sort-of-mall, Carrie, (although it was a government building) and you were selling children's clothes and toys. Owen was helping you, he was walking around everywhere and he was taller than he his now. The name of the shop was "Helping Hands" and the door had children's hand prints all over it. You were doing wonderfully, Carrie, and Owen remembered me! When I asked him if he knew who I was, he smiled, and said "yes . . . one, two, three . . . " (When I'm with him, since he's been about four months old, I've taken him and swung him over your bed saying "one, two, three" and gently dropping him on three.) He's always liked that. It was a wonderful dream, I was so surprised and happy to hear him say that!

VERY glad to hear everyone is feeling better. Talk with you soon, love to all of you, Mom / Grandma Bug
