Chattin' It Up

Owen's latest thing is to start cooing when you engage him in conversation.  It's very fun and every once in a while he gets emphatic about something and it makes us smile.  This is happening more frequently these days.  It is kind of crazy how quickly he is developing.  He's going very fast and very slow at the same time.  I suppose that's the conundrum of parenthood.  There is never going to be a golden period of absolute awesomeness, it's always the frustrations intertwined with the rewards.  I think the trick is to manage the frustrations in a healthy, constructive manner while taking pleasure in the moments like this.

You guys are too much, and Owen wow how smart can this little guy be? I mean, last year, a lifetime ago for him really he saw this potential in you two and just plain went for it. I mean think about it, he had one shot and risked it all on you...and he basically won the baby Lotto!!!

My goodness, I hope it wasn't my comment that was deleted. Sometimes I do go on and on . . . .

Thank goodness you guys put these video clips on your site. How AMAZING to hear Owen talk! Now, yes, I do know that this is his very early talking . . . but still, I also know that without these clips there would be no way to know how he sounds! You guys ARE the best.

Oooooh Owen is so dang cute. I have to second what Carol said. It was nice to hear his voice, I almost cried.WOW!!!!! He looks like he will have lots of energy so Mom and Dad need not be concerned with watching your weight, that wont be an issue, however, watching where you are diving to prevent him from putting something in his mouth will!! I Love you all & still think Enumclaw should be your next move.
