Saturday in Scottsdale

Scottsdale has been trying to get a farmers market going in the Downtown. We try to head down on Saturday mornings to show our support with the added bonus of getting fresh vegetables for a great price. It's kind of a nice way to start the weekend too. Afterwards we headed over to Civic Center Park to sit in the grass and simply enjoy the day by doing nothing.

Owen chatting it up with a goat. Little more exciting than a cardboard baby head but not much.

Supporting the local farmers.

Owen loves celery. He was pretty content sitting in the grass just eating his celery.

Very content actually.

And Carrie was pretty content hanging out with Owen in the park. Very content actually.

Great photos... full of sunshine, shade, and happy smiles. The photo of you Carrie, with the "bouquet like" bunch of lettuce, was great! Of coarse I enjoyed those great big smiles of Owen too! (we're going to see sunshine and warm weather pretty soon too)

You probably heard it snowed last night, we woke up with about 2" on the ground. Hard to believe!

This look so much better down there. :0) Owen looks like he's lovin' that celery. What a smile, and I like the pictures of you Carrie, too. Enjoy.

I love the pictures. So full of happiness, sunshine and love. I sat here for a little while, trying to thing of a word to describe the picture of Owen and Carrie. Beautiful, engaging, happiness, joy, love....all great words. But somehow the word "life" just seemed to fit the best. LIFE....a joyfull life.
